Chrissy Ukulele

Chrissy is an international performer and Kanile'a Ukulele endorsed artist, singer/songwriter, film composer, and educator. She has headlined festivals including the Melbourne Ukulele Festival and The Gaithersburg Ukulele Festival. She has scored the music for two award-winning feature films: Highest Point (with Bernard De La Cour) and With Flying Colours (with Liam Fox O’Brien).

She is also passionate about teaching songwriting and running online classes. Hailing from Australia and now based in Los Angeles, singer/songwriter Chrissy serves up acoustic pop on the ukulele with songs about romanticism, moonlighting as a cat burglar, and the gypsy nature of life on the road. Aside from her original tunes, Chrissy loves to take well-known classics and give them new life - jazzy renditions of Madonna’s ‘Into the Groove’ and ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ both pay homage to musical influences and challenge audiences with radical interpretations.
