Cancellation/Refund Policy
For the 2025 Allegheny Ukulele Soirée, our cancellation/refund schedule is as follows:
Before February 1, 2025: Full registration fee refund minus $15 cancellation fee (and any fees through our registration platform, RegFox)
February 1 – March 1: 50% registration fee refund
March 2– April 1: 25% registration fee refund
April 2 - April 28: No registration fee refund
Dining package is fully refundable until April 2.

I want to thank all of our attendees, artists, sponsors, and vendors who helped to make our 10th annual Soirée such a smashing success. It's hard to believe that the Soirée has been going on for an entire decade - from our humble beginnings at our local Penn State branch campus to the nadir of the COVID-19 pandemic, to today! We have so much to be grateful for and it's all because of our wonderful attendees whose smiling faces keep us going!
About the Soirée
The Allegheny Ukulele Soirée is Pennsylvania's longest running Ukulele festival, located in central Pennsylvania in the foothills of the Alleghenies. Dedicated to sharing the ukulele with both the local and ukulele communities, the Soirée blends practical workshops with cultural exploration.
Each year we bring top talent from the Ukulele World to our festival, right here in Altoona, PA. We pride ourselves on providing an intense and immersive experience to all of our festival attendees.

COVID-19 Policies
The Allegheny Ukulele Soirée has always wanted to create the best possible experience for our festival attendees. After much research, discussion and feedback, we have decided that we will follow the example of other festivals and entertainment venues.
All in-person attendees of the Allegheny Ukulele Soirée are highly recommended to be fully vaccinated by the time of the festival. Proof of vaccination is not required upon check-in at the festival.
Open Mic
Are you ready to step up and belt out a few tunes this year? Or maybe just ready to show off your fancy new shtick? Awesome! We have two open mic opportunities again this year - both will be located in the on-site Grouse's Nest restaurant & bar.
Solo performers will appear during our Lunch break on Saturday (12PM - 1PM).
Group performers (max 5 per group, please) will appear during our Dinner break on Saturday (5:30PM - 6:30PM).
Wonderful, well planned event!
Wonderful, well planned event! The performers and workshops were A-level. Everyone was well received and well treated. The enthusiasm, hard work and dedication of the organizers resulted in a fun and educational weekend. 2023 was my first year. I will be there next year!
We enjoyed all of the entertainment
My husband and I attended this years soiree for the first time. We drove from Brick New Jersey, which was a five hour ride. We were very pleasantly surprised how well organized and well attended it was. We enjoyed all of the entertainment! So fun.
