 ‘Ukulele player Bryan Tolentino has been known for the past forty plus years as an accompanist who performed and continues to perform, locally and abroad, with some of Hawaiʻi’s most well known and accomplished Hawaiian music artists.

I love the ukulele. The only thing I enjoy more than playing it, is helping other people learn to play things they thought they never could.

The Legacy Ukulele Ensemble is a group of adult players from across the United States and Canada who are directed and led by internationally acclaimed ukulele teacher, Peter Luongo. The ensemble is committed to learning/developing their music literacy and ukulele playing skills with the goal of performing and sharing their music with audiences.  

Casey MacGill performs music that swings. Nat "King" Cole Trio meets the Mills Brothers. Fats Waller meets Fats Domino. Slim Galliard meets Fred Astaire. It is American music of many decades and no decade in particular, all happening at the same time, woven into a seamless, beautiful whole.

Aaron Baer is a multi-instrumentalist from Oshkosh, WI. Aaron started playing the ukulele in the mid 1990s and hasn’t turned back. Aaron has become known for playing the stovepipe as well as many homemade contraptions. He is a natural teacher and enthusiastic musician. This year he will be joined by Jeff Mitchell and Leif Larson.   

Ray Cygrymus has taught elementary school music for over thirty years, most recently specializing in ukulele instruction in the classroom. He has lived in the Pittsburgh area his entire life, and attended Duquesne University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education, with an emphasis on voice. 

A Vaudeville inspired act, Mim combines elements of circus, novelty, and forgotten favorites! Expect the unexpected! Her show is a high-energy, smile inducing set that takes the audience along on a musical journey that will have them laughing and singing along! She always brings something new to the stage with a fresh group of songs, jokes, and tricks every season.

Melissa Nannen has been creating music since the age of 5 through a variety of means and finally found her perfect instrument in the ukulele during a cold, snowy winter in 2014.  She has been writing original songs since she was 15 on her guitar, but found the ukulele took her songwriting and playing abilities into uncharted territory. 

Debi first saw Hawaiian dance (hula) in the late seventies. I loved the variety of dances that the girls did and how graceful they were. I never dreamed I would be dancing with them but one time I saw them dancing while sitting on the floor and that was it! If you can sit and dance, I want to try it!
